KASHONIA'S MESSAGE

 

Hello,

 

The rain seems to have gone away up here and we are having beautiful days and all is well with my world.

 

I still haven't finished setting up the Interview Download webpage.  It's not that it is difficult but it is time consuming and very boring and so I'm just doing a little bit of it each day.  It will be up and in operation for the next edition of The Story Report.

 

Meanwhile, Part 2 of my give-away book, Exploring 2012 is now up and running as a category on my blog.  I'll explain that below in a separate section.

 

Also below, I want to explain that I will definitely not exclude anyone from my articles, just because they don't like Facebook : - ).

 

So let's get to it.

In the last edition of The Story Report, I shared the special news that Raising Love Consciousness now had its own Facebook "Fan" page. 

 

Following that I received a number of emails from people saying such things as: I hate Facebook and will never use it; through to it's all I can do to get emails, I will never be able to work out Facebook.  The underlying message from all of those people was that by putting my articles on Facebook, I would be excluding people who don't use Facebook for whatever reason.

 

Rest assured, I would never exclude anyone.

 

To get my emails you must have a computer.  And if you are able to get emails then you should also be able to access the Internet.  And that's all that you need to do to be able to read my articles.

 

My blog, www.Kashonia.com ,is my Internet home.  Everything that I write, except these editions of The Story Report, will always go first of all on my blog.  The Story Report has its own website - www.TheStoryReport.com and so you can always check out past editions there. 

 

All of my blog posts are automatically picked up by Facebook and a summary only, appears on Facebook.  If people want to read the entire article they will have to come to my www.Kashonia.com blog.

 

To be perfectly honest, I am not a Facebook person at all.  Prior to setting up the Raising Love Consciousness Facebook page, I had visited my Facebook personal page about twice in the previous 12 months.

 

But as nearly half a Billion - yes Billion with a "B" - people are Facebook people, I felt that it was important for Raising Love Consciousness to have a Facebook presence. 

 

So in summary, as far as all of my articles and future comments are concerned, you won't miss a thing if you visit my blog -  www.Kashonia.com - regularly.

 

If you are still not sure how to go to my blog, you should be able to just click on this www.Kashonia.com link and like magic my blog should open for you. 

 

Alternatively, if you can get someone to find my blog for you and ask them to "Bookmark" it or make it a "Favorites" page.  Someone can even help you to put my little Icon on your Internet Browser Bar so that all you have to do is click that and my blog will appear for you.

 

One other thing you can do, is to get someone to help you with, or do it yourself, and RSS my blog.  In the article after next, below, I will explain what RSS is all about.

 

Having said all of that, please don't hesitate in writing to me if you are still concerned about seeing my articles and stories.  

 

 

 

 

EXPLORING 2012 - PART 2 - is now being posted to my Blog

As you are probably aware, I give away Part One of my book, Exploring 2012 - Part 1 - The Evidence, along with the audios of the content,  to everyone who signs up to my mailing list.  If for some reason you didn't receive your copy just go to the following link

Initially, I said that I would be selling Part 2 - Exploring 2012: The Stories and the Preparation - when the entire book was finished.

 

It then came to me that I must focus on preparing the course Elevate Your Consciousness for launch, rather than focus on completing the book and selling it, first.

 

However, seeing as I have already written about 120 pages of Part 2, I decided that I would convert the content of those 120 odd pages into separate independent articles and post them one-by-one on my blog, as I do the conversions.

 

As with any new post, these Exploring 2012 - Part 2 articles will appear on the home page of my blog.  In addition, they will all go together under the category "1. Exploring 2012 & the SHIFT in Consciousness".  I put the number 1 at the beginning so that category would be at the top of the list and easy to find. 

 

Currently, there are already 6 blog posts in the Exploring 2012-Part 2 category.

Whilst about 90% of my blog posts are related to the 2012 era and the changes in consciousness in some way or other, the posts put in the Exploring 2012-Part 2 category are ones which I had, or would have, included in the actual book.

 

It is my intention to convert and post one new Part 2 article, roughly every 10 days +/-.

 

So if you're one of the many people who've been writing to me asking me when Part 2 would be published, then you might like to RSS my blog.

 

And that's a great segue into the next item on the agenda.

 

 

 

 

WHAT IS RSS & HOW TO USE IT

If you know all about RSS then you can skip this article too and move on to the final article below it.

 

The letters RSS stand for Really Simple Syndication.  RSS is a family of web-feed formats used to publish frequently updated works--such as blog entries.  An RSS document, which is called a "feed", or "web feed", normally includes summarized text, plus other information such as publishing dates and who wrote the article. 

 

If you want to RSS a "feed" from my blog - in other words if you want to know each time I write and publish a blog post without having to continually visit my blog, then here's what you do.   (The above was adapted from a Wikipedia Post)

 

How To RSS Kashonia's Blog

 

1.  Go to my blog at www.Kashonia.com

2.  Look for the RSS symbol -   .  You'll find a very tiny one at the very top of the blog page and a bigger one at the top of the left hand menu.

 

3.  Click on either one - not both.  They both go to the same place.

 

4.  When you click on the icon you'll be taken to a page with a summary of all of my blog posts.  At the top of that page is a big yellow box with the heading "Kashonia's Blog - Kashonia's Blog".

 

5.  You will now work inside of that yellow box.  There are a couple of alternatives that you have for RSSing (or subscribing) to my blog.  You can have a little window containing links to the last 3 of my blog posts on your iGoogle Internet browser page - if you use iGoogle.   This is where I put all of my RSS feeds.  If you don't know what iGoogle is, then just forget this option.

 

The most common option, however, is to click on the third link near the bottom of the yellow window.  The Link says "Subscribe To This Feed" - Click on that.

 

6.  A new small grey window will open with a couple of lines that you'll have to fill in.  The first is NAME:  This might already be filled in with  "Kashonia's Blog - Kashonia's Blog".  If that's the case - remove one of the Kashonia's Blog so that just one remains.

 

7.  Under "Name" - it says "CREATE IN" -   It should already say "Feeds".  What this means is that in your list of Bookmarked Websites, or Favorites the folder Feeds will appear.  In that folder all of my blog posts/feeds will then be put.  However, what I suggest is that you make a sub-folder called Kashonia's Blog so that all my feeds just go into that subfolder and will not get confused with any other sites that you might was to RSS.  

 

 

8.  So to do that - where it says "Create In"  - you'll see the RSS Icon and Feeds. To the right of that is a box saying "New Folder".  Click on New Folder and then in the box that says name - type "Kashonia" or "Kashonia's Blog".   Click on "Create" and that little window will close.

 

9.  Click on/tick the little square that says "Add to Favorites Bar".

 

10.  Click on the subscribe button and from then on, anytime I post anything on my blog, you'll be notified.

 

 

 

 

LATEST BLOG POSTS

You can always find a summary of blog posts listed under the Category Heading - "Latest Summary" in the category section of the left hand menu on my blog.

 

However, even if I have no special news, I will endeavour  to send out an edition of The Story Report each fortnight (every two weeks) or so, with a list of blog posts since the previous edition.
